I really like this art. It reminds me of this one movie I saw when I was little about the rainforest and how it's dying out and this picture seems to capture that, even if it probably wasn't your total intention. I really like the blood effects, the 'soul' of the tree leaving (Is that what it is?) I like everything about this piece. Good job :)

When I first say it as a thumbnail, I thought the tree was a house, some foreign castle-ish thing, and he was going up there to kill them all with the chainsaw but someone had already let the blood run through the floors and out the door before him. Macabre, but it was a bit funny, with his expression. Do you see it?
